How long have you worked at MIT
Since Sept 2018 — almost six years (I joined EECS in July 2020 — four year anniversary!)

Describe your role and responsibilities at MIT:
In my role in the EECS UG Office, I strategize on and implement activities for EECS undergraduate programs. This includes a combination of administration, finance and information technology, compliance, communications, and outreach. I develop recommendations for program process improvements and ensure program operations are effective and efficient. I handle EECS academic advising and serve as an academic advisor, advising on academics, research, and well-being. I develop and implement programs to facilitate the academic success and social adjustment of EECS students. This is a long way of saying that I focus on receiving complex questions, finding or creating answers/solutions, and updating programs/processes to better serve our community of students, staff, and faculty.

What is your favorite part of your job:
I have many favorite parts! First and foremost: working with our fantastic EECS students. Collaborating with EECS staff and faculty is a joy, and last but not least, working with colleagues all over MIT. It’s the amazing people here, for me!

Do you have any hobbies or interests:
Hiking, reading, traveling, gardening, playing with our toddler and dog. Since it’s summer, I’ll give a special shoutout to going to the beach and playing in the waves.
