Describe your role and responsibilities at MIT:
Consider me the proverbial “Human Resources Swiss Army Knife” – if there is a project to coordinate [you’d think, given the title], an appointment to review and vet out, a search that requires additional HR frontloading, R&R – you name it, and I am most likely involved!

What is your favorite part of your job:
The appointment requests we receive are a unique puzzle to solve, in terms of compliance, benefit to MIT, and so on. Search support allows me the opportunity to take the burden off of search managers and get to know people’s passions, interest in roles, and establish connections. I get to be a thought partner on myriad projects, ideas, process improvement implementations – and more! I truly love all the things I get to do – as long as I’m being helpful; I’m happy.

Do you have any hobbies or interests:
I write a lot – daily; when possible! Urban fantasy, horror, science fiction, poetry, and more. I am also a photographer whose favorite subject is people – after all, faces tell some of the best stories.
